Hand sanitizer, soap and water are available on board and we encourage its use. We are monitoring reports from local officials in order to remain aware of the latest information. We will always strive to provide you with a safe and enjoyable snorkel experience.
As more information becomes available with State and Federal authorities and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), we are dedicated and committed to do our part to guarantee the safety of our staff and guests and flatten the curve on COVID-19. We want nothing more than for you to feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed during your time on Maui.
What is the Coronavirus (COVID-19)?
The CDC describes the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as “a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. The virus that causes COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus that was first identified during an investigation into an outbreak in Wuhan, China” (https://printabletemplates.com/coronavirus-factsheet/).
How Does the COVID-19 Spread?
According to the CDC, it is believed that the COVID-19 originated from an animal but has advanced to humans. How does one catch the virus? It is thought that the virus spreads between people who are in close contact and the droplets of an infected individual who sneezes or coughs. There is also the possibility of catching COVID-19 through touching infected surfaces and in turn touching your mouth, eyes or nose. Basically, think of how you would catch the flu or a common cold.

What Precautions Can I Take to Protect Myself?
Make sure to wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If for some reason you can not wash your hands, make sure you use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Be sure to avoid contact with people that are sick and avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, and mouth with contaminated hands.
