Try SNUBA On Maui
SNUBA Molokini & Coral Gardens
There’s no better way to see the wonders of Maui’s coral reefs up close! Don’t miss the opportunity to SNUBA at Molokini or Coral Gardens and enhance your adventure! This unique underwater experience can be added, for only $75. Since most of Maui’s snorkel sites have depths of 10 – 35 feet, SNUBA is a great way to see marine life up close and personal rather than top-side snorkeling.
Like SCUBA but without the hassle! No Certification Needed!
Breathe Underwater
SNUBA is a unique, patented, shallow-water diving system that bridges the gap between snorkeling and scuba diving. Because the tanks and heavy equipment stay on top of the surface on a raft, it eliminates the hassle of diving. You are connected to a constant flow of air via a long hose. This allows you to have more movement and you are never more than a few feet away from the security of the raft floating on the surface. Your depth can be determined by your comfort level, whether that be 2 feet or 10.
SNUBA offers a wonderful alternative to SCUBA diving for many people, as you are connected to a central air supply and able to go at your own pace without certifications required.

Professional Instructors
Our professional instructor will guide you through a short (usually 15-20 minutes) instruction on the use, techniques, and procedures. After that, you are ready to get in the water and start the FUN. Once in the water, your SNUBA experience lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. Created for those who want to experience the wonders of breathing underwater and diving down for longer periods. We even have wetsuits available to rent to help keep you warm while on your dive.
All of our SNUBA instructors are Certified Dive Masters with many years of experience and love what they do!
Safe & Easy
It is safe, easy, and you are accompanied by a Certified Scuba – Instructor the entire time. With a diver alongside for assistance, as your underwater marine life guide they will help introduce and point you in the right direction. To do SNUBA you should have strong swimming skills and previous snorkeling experience is helpful. There are some medical conditions that may preclude being able to SNUBA. Discuss any concerns which you may have, with your SNUBA instructor. It is easily accessible to all individuals even children (8 years and older). This is truly a unique and exciting option to try.

Reserve In Advance!
Because SNUBA requires more details when booking, you must make note of it when booking online or call 1-800-736-5740 to reserve your SNUBA experience and add it to your Four Winds snorkel adventure. There is no prepayment required and there is no obligation to purchase. Payment for SNUBA is processed by your instructor onboard the boat (payable by cash and/or credit card). SNUBA is very popular and tanks are limited on each trip, be sure to reserve your SNUBA experience before you arrive!
*Availability is limited and a reserved spot is not a guarantee. The final decision on whether or not it is safe for you to participate is determined by you SNUBA instructor (based on the provided health questionnaire).
The History of SNUBA: Where Did It Begin?
In 1985, a man by the name of Michael Stafford conceived the idea for SNUBA out of a ski shop in Soda Springs, California. Michael was an avid traveler, scuba diver, and snorkeler, and realized that there was a large gap between the number of people that snorkel and scuba dive. Michael developed a breathing system that made it easy to introduce snorkelers and non-scuba divers to the world that exists underwater. The surface supplied air system allows SNUBA divers to safely explore the underwater world without having to regulate.
