About the Four Winds
Company History
Incorporated in 1983, Maui Classic Charters has been one of the pioneers and continues to set the standards, for quality, value, and customer service, in the snorkeling charter industry throughout Hawaii. Although the Four Winds is our signature vessel, we additionally own and operate the Maui Magic (a fast power catamaran that offers additional snorkeling destinations). Having two vessels gives us the ability to provide a variety of snorkeling trips and sets us apart from others. With over 40 years of experience, our company’s mission has always been to provide excellent fun for the entire family and to ensure every one of our passengers has a safe and enjoyable snorkeling experience.
We believe it is important to help in the conservation of marine animals. We help protect the beautiful coral reefs here in Maui by offering reef-safe sunscreen on board. We work closely with the US Coast Guard and the Department of Land and Natural Resources, following all maritime rules and regulations. Maui Classic Charters have been safely operating since 1983.

For many years, the Four Winds has participated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, making it possible for children with life-threatening medical conditions to experience a snorkel trip at no cost. We love taking part in making Hawaii Wish dreams come true and having fun with the kids. We are honored to donate hundreds of trips to kids (and their families) annually for this worthy cause.
